​Zoe Friel, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Medicine and Emergency at WestVet Boise, where she has been a part of the team since 2023.

Dr. Friel attended Boise State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University.

Dr. Friel has a special interest in diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping clients and patients in their time of need.

When away from the hospital, she is passionate about volunteerism and shelter medicine. Her hobbies include hiking and exploring with her dog, Emmett.
