Zachary Fawver, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Medicine and Emergency at WestVet Boise, where he has been a part of the team since 2023.

Dr. Fawver attended Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University.

Dr. Fawver has a special interest in internal medicine and oncology. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is interacting with clients and talking through difficult topics to explain exactly what is happening with their pets. He always wants to ensure clients are as informed and comfortable as possible with their veterinary care.

When away from the hospital, he enjoys being a cinephile. He would gladly spend an entire weekend at the movie theater. In addition, he loves live theatre, both professional and communal. He also has a strong background in music and can play the saxophone, cello, and piano.
