Stephanie L. Straw, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Medicine and Emergency at WestVet Boise, where she has been a part of the team since 2023.

Dr. Straw attended California Lutheran University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University.

Dr. Straw has a special interest in surgery, emergency, and critical care. Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine are her connections with her patients and clients and her positive impact on the world. 

When away from the hospital, she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, exploring new places, and being with her dog.
