Marissa B. Fiume, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Medicine and Emergency at WestVet Boise, where she has been a part of the team since 2023.

Dr. Fiume attended the College of Wooster where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Studio Arts. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University.

Dr. Fiume has a special interest in small animal surgery. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is having the ability to help animals in distress daily, and the honor of supporting the human-animal bond.

When away from the hospital, she enjoys camping at the lake with her dogs, snowboarding, building sports cars, and attending racing events.
