Please welcome Dr. Hillary Greatting to Idaho and WestVet!
We are excited to announce the newest addition to the WestVet family. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hillary Greatting to our Neurology Department.
Dr. Greatting is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following her graduation, she completed her rotating internship at Texas A&M University. She then completed her neurology residency at Colorado State University and The Veterinary Neurological Center (Phoenix, AZ) in 2015. Prior to joining WestVet, Dr. Greatting was a clinical assistant professor in neurology and neurosurgery at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
Dr. Greatting is also certified in canine rehabilitation, earning her CCRT in March 2018. Dr. Greatting’s teaching interests include: clinically applicable neuroanatomy and neurolocalization. Her clinical areas of interest include neuromuscular disease, lumbosacral disease, central nervous system tumors, immune-mediated encephalitis, rehabilitation of neurosurgical patients, and rehabilitation of chronic neurological conditions.
Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys snowboarding, fly fishing, vintage clothes shopping, and going on adventures with her Yorkshire Terrier, Elouise.
