Dena N. Berlin, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Medicine and Emergency at WestVet Boise, where she has been a part of the team since 2023.

Dr. Berlin attended Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a concentration in Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University.

Dr. Berlin has special interests in internal medicine, emergency, and critical care. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the diagnostic process and helping unwell pets regain their health.

When away from the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Ziggy, traveling the world, running, hiking, cooking, and baking.
