One of our favorite springtime events in the Treasure Valley is the Family Pet Expo.

 

 

This event takes place at the Western Idaho Fairgrounds in Garden City and invites numerous animal-friendly organizations from around the area to come together. Families who attend can enjoy the petting zoo, pet adoptions, free samples from veterinary vendors, gather information from several rescue groups, and more.

 

 

WestVet has rented booth space for several years and we love meeting friendly furry and not furry faces. We brought along our ambulance, used for emergency animal transports, and let some future veterinary professional take a close look inside and out. 

 

 

We were very happy to see an old friend.

“Dozer,” the beautiful Great Dane pictured here was a patient with us for a while. He is now thriving and healthy and we loved seeing him again.
