Physiotherapy Veterinarian– We are seeking a full time veterinarian certified in canine rehabilitation and acupuncture with an interest in sports medicine, regenerative medicine and pain management to work alongside our team of board certified specialists within our brand new state of the art 32,000 square foot facility with over 1300 Square feet of dedicated rehabilitation space fully equipped with exercise equipment, underwater treadmill, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, shockwave, cold laser and hyperbaric chamber. We have a large clinical case load including chronic pain management and complex neurological and orthopedic cases. We have a growing sports medicine service focusing on both training and injury prevention, as well as diagnosing and rehabilitation of sports related injuries. The successful candidate will be a motivated team player dedicated to providing an outstanding service at the highest level in the field of Canine and Feline rehabilitation. Applicants would ideally have extensive experience with orthopedic and neurological cases.
Emergency Service Clinician– We are currently seeking a full-time Emergency Service Clinician to join our progressive, professional, client-oriented team. WestVet is the only small animal emergency and specialty hospital in Idaho. We have recently moved into our brand new 32,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and our fast paced emergency service is rapidly expanding.
Client Care Specialist – We are looking for qualified, experienced applicants for our front desk and phone center. CCS team members provide great customer service in person and over the phone to our clients. This position requires great communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Customer service experience required, veterinary experienced preferred but not required.
Switchboard Operator – We are looking for someone with heavy volume multi-line phones or switchboard experience to work in our phone center as part of our Client Care Team. Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills are essential. Customer service experience required, veterinary experience preferred but not required.
Client Service Technician (Emergency Department) -The CST maintains communication between the client and doctor while providing the highest level of customer service. This position requires a very organized, dependable individual. Major duties include triaging incoming patients, obtaining vitals and patient history, explaining detailed treatment plans and home-care instructions, and providing exam room assistance. This is a evening swing shift position.
Technician Assistant (Emergency & Internal Medicine Departments)- Our technician assistants provide support to our licensed veterinary technicians and veterinarians. Ideal candidates will possess great multi-tasking skills and thrive in a fast paced work environment. Major duties include patient restraint for various procedures & treatments, set up and sanitizing of patient kennels/beds, stocking of medications/supplies, maintaining a clean hospital, and assisting technicians with the care of their patients.
Internal Medicine Technician – We are currently seeking an experienced veterinary technician to work in our expanding Internal Medicine department. Qualified candidates should possess strong client communication skills and solid technical skills including anesthesia experience. We are looking for an organized, pro-active thinker to be a leader in our IM department. Certification preferred but experienced veterinary assistants will be considered.
Surgery Anesthesia and Operating Room Technicians– We are looking for experienced technicians and assistants to join our Surgery team. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication skills and attention to detail. Surgery Anesthesia Technicians should have strong anesthesia and patient care skills, CVT preferred but not required.
